Most Common Mistakes to Avoid During Salah niskaram

Salah is the most commonly used obligatory form of worship opted by Muslims. It is the second pillar of Islam and it is obligatory upon every Muslim woman and man to offer Salah five times a day. Salah symbolizes humility and submission therefore, when offering it a Muslim needs to observe this spirit and keep the prayer void of any kind of arrogance or haste.

Although Muslims are aware of the importance and significance of Salah, however, while offering it people make different kinds of mistakes, that are obviously are mistakenly done however if they are not corrected it can become  a habit that can mar the whole spirit of offering Salah. The lines below discuss the most common mistakes committed while offering Salah and how to avoid them.
Praying In The Wrong Direction:
Most of the people just get an idea of the direction but do not pay heed to finding the correct direction to Qibla. The direction of Qibla is very important for prayer and it cannot be taken casually. Moreover, being in an unknown place raises its importance even more. Therefore, a Muslim must try to locate Qibla direction properly and then stand for prayer. In this regard, one could as simply as ask someone, or use The Smartphone Application Qibla Finder developed by QuranReading.com. The app is the best solution for people who are on the go frequently or are in some unknown place.
Fast Recitation of Quran:
The recitation of Quran is an integral part of Salah. Some of the Muslims because of some haste or out of habit recite Quran quickly during the prayer. Although it serves the purpose but it does not help in the spirit of offering prayer that is humility and submissiveness. Therefore, whenever a Muslim is praising Allah in prayer, he or she should take it slowly and mean every word by heart.
Moving Before in Congregation:
Perhaps the most common mistake that people commit during congregational prayer is moving before the Imam. People would either go into Ruku, Sujood or stand back in Qayaam before even the Imam does it. This is not permissible in offering prayer and a Muslim should avoid it strictly.
Being Hasty:
Although it is permissible in Islam to shorten the Salah if there is some important matter at hand after the prayer, however, making it a habit is not something that is recommended in Islam. As discussed earlier, Salah is all about being humble and feeling if the person is in the court of Allah. this spirit cannot be acheiveed if one performs Salah hastily and just getting over with it. Therefore, a Muslim must offer Salah with calmness and ease.
Conclusion:
In short, Salah is all about being humble, submissive and down to earth. Therefore, whatever features contradict with this spirit should be avoided while offering in order to make sure that it is not just an exercise, rather it goes with the spirit it is supposed to be offered in the rightful manner.
